Job summary

Early Warning in Scottsdale is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our secure software engineering team. You will develop, test, and maintain Java-based web services using Spring Boot, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teammates.

The role requires at least 5 years in software engineering, strong Git, SQL and REST expertise, and experience with DevOps practices and automated testing. Hybrid work options apply in select cities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• Minimum 5 years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency with Git, RESTful design, SQL and Spring Boot.
• Experience with modern DevOps practices and automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Participates in implementation around complex capabilities.
• Develops features to enhance Early Warning core product offerings.
• Manages source code with Git and reviews pull requests for quality.
• Queries platform data with SQL-based databases and builds Java Spring Boot web services.
• Documents decisions in Confluence and builds automated tests for CI/CD pipelines.
