Job summary

Early Warning, headquartered in Phoenix/Scottsdale, seeks a hands-on technical leader to set standards of excellence across multiple teams. You will own technical product design and architecture, partnering with product management to align roadmaps with technology strategy.

Ideal candidates bring fifteen+ years in complex software projects, 8+ years in FinTech, and strong communication skills. You will drive cloud-native solutions, CI/CD, and automated testing while mentoring others.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical field.
• Fifteen or more years of experience in designing and developing complex software projects with at least eight or more years in FinTech domain.
• 1-2 years of experience implementing application solutions/services in Cloud using Containerization, CI/CD, Automated testing and in compliance security guidelines.
• Experience in leading cross-functional teams to create technical solutions.
• Effective communicator with exceptional public speaking skills.
• Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) best practices, software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, LEAN etc) and DevOps practices.
• Proven track record designing and building complex end-to-end systems (full stack developer).
• Hands-on experience in design/development using Java RESTful Web Services, Spring, Kafka, Oracle PL/SQL, JS frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product management to craft product strategy and align to technology roadmaps.
• Be a thought leader and mentor for the team, driving best practices and architectural decisions.
• Own the technical product design and architecture for solutions.
• Present designs and progress to groups of varying sizes.
• Collaborate with customers to understand needs and improve Early Warning products.
• Shape engineering approaches and share knowledge across teams.
• Develop and communicate a departmental technical vision for the future.
• Design and engineer service solutions aligned with cloud, CI/CD, and automated testing.
