Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in distributed systems and SaaS.
• 7+ years of Java/Spring development with Maven/Gradle.
• Experience delivering business-critical systems to market.
• Ability to influence and collaborate in a team.
• Experience designing scalable systems and event-driven architecture.
• Cloud experience (GCP/AWS/Azure) and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Build technical strategy for broad or complex requirements that impact beyond the team.
• Shape methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for projects.
• Drive architecture, design, prototyping, and implementation to production delivery.
• Provide leadership and technical expertise for backlog and delivery.
• Lead a broad functional area with team planning and execution.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to build new features.
• Own features and systems long-term health and surrounding systems.
• Assist support/operations to identify and resolve production issues.
• Develop tests to ensure quality, performance, and scalability.
• Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes.
• Support risk management and protect data confidentiality.
