Enlighten is a cutting-edge technology company seeking a talented Software Engineer to design, develop, and implement complex Java-based software capabilities for our clients. You will work with a skilled team to build scalable services, in a hybrid role with on-site support in Hanover and Columbia, MD.

Applicants must have TS/SCI clearance and 9+ years in software engineering with Java, plus experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and Agile methodologies.

Qualifications

• Security Clearance TS/SCI required; U.S. citizenship required.
• 9+ years in Software Engineering with Java; 7+ years with a Masters.
• Experience designing enterprise APIs and RESTful services.
• Proficient with microservices architecture and OOP.
• Comfortable Linux CLI and agile software lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Develop Java-based software capabilities for complex systems.
• Collaborate with engineers to deliver scalable software solutions.
• Design, implement, test, and troubleshoot services under deadlines.
• Work on customer site in Hanover, MD and Enlighten's Columbia, MD office as needed.
• Contribute to DoD 8140/8570 compliance requirements.
