Insight Global is seeking a remote Java Developer in India to support a Fortune 100 retail pharmacy company. This role involves working on backend and cloud development, focusing on modernizing retail store applications. The ideal candidate is a team player eager to learn and grow within the organization.

Compensation: $14/hr to $17/hr, depending on skills, experience, and education. Benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance, HSA, FSA, DCFSA accounts, 401K with employer matching, paid sick leave, and other paid time off.

Skills and Requirements:

1. 8+ years of Java development experience
2. 3+ years working with Spring Boot, Node.js, microservices
3. Kafka experience
4. Familiarity with Cassandra and MongoDB
5. Experience with XML/JSON, REST APIs
6. Experience with GraphQL APIs
7. Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, GKE preferred)
8. Knowledge of cloud storage, cloud functions, postGRES, Grafana
9. Retail, e-commerce, or pharmacy domain experience is a plus
10. Reactive programming experience
11. Extensive database experience
