• Experience deciphering complex legacy JSP-templated monoliths
• Ability to gather requirements with limited guidance
• Comfort mentoring junior engineers and communicating with stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Serve as an independent contributor on complex systems with minimal guidance
• Proactively gather requirements from stakeholders and existing codebases
• Modernize legacy applications, focusing on Java backend work
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in technical interviews
• Present design documents and system diagrams to clients and engineers
