Job summary

Huntington Bancshares, Inc. seeks a Senior Programmer/Analyst with strong GCP experience to enhance the Enterprise Payments platform. You will develop Java back-end services, REST APIs, and cloud-native solutions on GCP, including serverless and container-based architectures.

Collaborate with IS Tech Specialists, architects, and analysts to deliver secure, scalable payment solutions. The role expects hands-on development in an Agile environment, with on-call production support as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 1+ year of related experience or Huntington Technical Youth training/apprenticeship.
• Experience in building and maintaining cloud-native apps on GCP and Java.

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements into technical solutions for payment systems.
• Develop backend services using Java and Spring Boot; design and document RESTful APIs.
• Build cloud-native apps on GCP using Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, and/ or GKE.
• Participate in incidents, changes, and production support processes.
• Collaborate with offshore/onsite teams to ensure timely delivery.
