Job summary

Huntington Bancshares, Inc. is seeking a Senior Programmer/Analyst with strong GCP and Java backend expertise to advance the Enterprise Payments platform.

You will develop cloud-native solutions, RESTful APIs, and event-driven integrations, supporting production environments with on-call rotation. Collaborate with IS Tech Specialists, architects, and analysts in an agile setup to deliver secure, scalable payment solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• 1+ year of related experience or completion of Huntington’s Technical Youth or apprenticeship program.

Responsibilities

• Translate business and technical requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain back‑end services using Java (Spring Boot).
• Design, build, and document RESTful APIs with testing within the payments ecosystem.
• Build cloud‑native applications on GCP using serverless and container‑based solutions.
• Provide production support including on‑call rotation.
• Collaborate with offshore/onsite teams to ensure timely delivery with adherence to guidelines.
