Job summary

Huntington Bancshares, Inc. seeks a Senior Programmer/Analyst with strong GCP and Java expertise to support the Enterprise Payments platform.

You will implement cloud-native solutions, including serverless and containerized apps, and deliver secure REST APIs within the payments ecosystem. The role collaborates with IS Tech Specialists, architects, and business analysts to ensure scalable, highly available payment solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience developing cloud-native applications on GCP with Java/Spring.
• Experience building secure RESTful APIs and event-driven integrations.

Responsibilities

• Translate business and technical requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain back-end services using Java (Spring Boot) and REST APIs; ensure testing within payment ecosystem.
• Demonstrate proficiency with GCP services, CLI tools, and cloud-native architectures.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain cloud-native apps on GCP using Cloud Functions/Run and/or GKE.
