Tenable is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our core product engineering team. You will design, develop, and maintain cloud-based search solutions on scalable infrastructure, building robust microservices and a cloud-native UI.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years of software development in enterprise environments and microservice architecture.
• Proficiency in Java or Kotlin and willingness to learn new languages.
• Experience with containerized microservices in Kubernetes and cloud-native design.
• Experience coaching and leading mid-level and junior engineers in technical projects.
• Strong collaboration in Agile teams and across product groups.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based, scalable search solutions on customer infrastructure.
• Build and maintain a cloud-native UI and supporting microservices.
• Lead data ingestion, storage, and retrieval services within the platform.
• Architect and implement features to evolve platform architecture; mentor peers.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to drive product improvements.
