Tenable is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain cloud-based search solutions atop a scalable data platform. You will contribute to core product engineering, build reliable microservices, and shape the architecture of our data infrastructure.

You will lead data ingestion, storage, and query layers, collaborate with product teams, and mentor engineers while advancing our cloud-native stack and security-focused technology.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software development experience in enterprise development and a desire to lead.
• Experience in software development within a distributed, microservice architecture.
• Experience with databases (SQL or NoSQL such as PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch).
• Experience coaching and leading mid-level and junior staff in design and execution of highly technical projects.
• Experience working in an Agile team and collaborating across product teams.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design and implement features to drive overall platform architecture.
• Lead in building scalable cloud-native search solutions and data plumbing services.
• Mentor mid-level and junior engineers and collaborate with Product Managers and stakeholders.
• Contribute to data ingestion, storage, and retrieval pipelines at scale.
• Drive innovation in a global cloud architecture and distributed systems.
