Job summary

Synechron in Alpharetta, GA is seeking a Senior Java Developer to design, build, and maintain robust Java applications and microservices that meet business requirements in a fast-paced financial services environment.

You will work with Spring Boot, SQL databases, and cloud-enabled architectures, mentor junior developers, implement CI/CD pipelines, optimize performance, and ensure security and regulatory compliance while collaborating with global teams using Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, and modern

Qualifications

• Strong Core Java expertise (Java 8/11/17+ with JVM internals and GC tuning).
• Microservices architecture experience with scalable services.
• SQL proficiency with large relational databases (Oracle/PostgreSQL/MS SQL).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and security practices in finance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain robust Java applications and microservices.
• Architect scalable microservices using Spring Boot and related technologies.
• Handle multi-threaded programming, concurrency and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with frontend, backend, and data teams to define APIs and data models.
• Build and optimize SQL queries for large databases.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and automated testing.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior developers.
• Ensure security, reliability, and regulatory compliance in finance.
