Job summary

Synechron is seeking an experienced Java Backend Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications. The role focuses on Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and microservices integration with databases and messaging systems.

Collaborate across teams, ensure security, code quality, and performance while supporting CI/CD processes and production readiness. The base salary ranges for Alpharetta, GA are $100K–$110K with benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong professional experience with Java.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Spring MVC.
• Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
• Experience building and supporting microservices-based applications.
• Good knowledge of Java features, collections, multithreading, exception handling, and memory management.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build scalable, secure, and high-performance RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Develop clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Implement business logic, service-layer components, data-access layers, and integrations.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases to design schemas, queries, indexes, and data access solutions.
• Collaborate with DevOps to support CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and production releases.
• Monitor application health, logs, and performance metrics in development and production environments.
• Prepare technical documentation and API specifications.
