Job summary

Erias Ventures seeks an Enterprise Software Engineer in Annapolis Junction, MD to develop and enhance high-performance software systems. You will analyze requirements, design, code, debug, and integrate complex analytics and data processing components across large datasets and real-time systems.

The role requires a Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph clearance, fourteen years of SWE experience, and a strong background in Java, MapReduce, and cloud technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Fourteen (14) years’ experience as a SWE in programs of similar scope is required.
• Four (4) years of additional SWE experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
• Design and code new software or modify existing software to add features.
• Debug existing software and correct defects.
• Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or environments.
• Develop simple data queries for databases or data repositories.
• Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards.
• Develop or implement algorithms to meet performance standards.
• Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components.
• Write or review software and system documentation.
• Lead a software development team as appropriate to the project.
