Job summary

Erias Ventures, LLC. is seeking a Cloud Software Engineer to develop, maintain, and enhance large-scale Big-Data Cloud systems. You will contribute to backend processing, information retrieval, and distributed computing using Hadoop and Cloud technologies.

You will work in a technically strong, growth-oriented environment with opportunities for advanced certifications and professional development. A Top-Secret/SCI clearance is required; sponsor is not provided.

Qualifications

• Eight years of software engineering experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline required.
• Cloudera Hadoop Developer certification may substitute for one year of cloud experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Big-Data Cloud systems based on documented requirements.
• Implement complex Cloud MapReduce analytics workflows and IR interactions.
• Oversee tasks and ensure delivery within the defined software process.
• Architect solutions for complex cloud software engineering problems.
