Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and deliver scalable enterprise applications. You will work with architects, product owners, and stakeholders to build cloud-ready solutions and drive modernization initiatives.

Responsibilities include building backend services with Java 17+, Spring Boot, and microservices, plus frontend work with Angular and TypeScript. Hybrid work from New York offices is offered with strong focus on collaboration and quality.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience developing enterprise applications using Java 17+ and modern backend stacks.
• Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Microservices, REST API development, JPA, and Hibernate.
• Experience building frontend apps using Angular 17+/19+ and TypeScript.
• Deep understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and scalable application design.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java 17+ and Spring Boot.
• Build and support secure, reliable RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Develop and enhance user interfaces using Angular 17+/19+ and TypeScript.
• Design data persistence with JPA/Hibernate for relational and NoSQL databases.
• Implement event-driven architectures with Kafka and enterprise messaging.
• Containerize apps with Docker and support CI/CD deployments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless front-end/back-end integration.
• Contribute to solution architecture and modernization initiatives.
