Job summary

Cognizant in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, seeks a Senior Java Full Stack Engineer with Angular for a hybrid role. You will develop full-stack apps using Angular on the frontend and Spring Boot on the backend, translate requirements into scalable solutions, and design RESTful APIs while ensuring performance and security.

This position requires strong skills with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java/Spring Boot, and experience with CI/CD and cloud deployments (AWS preferred).

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Angular and Spring Boot to build full-stack applications.
• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript for frontend development.
• Backend development using Java, Spring Boot and related frameworks.
• Familiarity with relational databases such as Oracle and ORM tools.
• Knowledge of RESTful API design and integration.
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Version control with Git.
• Willingness to collaborate across teams and support during critical phases.

In this role, you will:

• Develop and maintain full-stack web applications using Angular (frontend) and Spring Boot (backend)

What you need to have to be considered:

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with strong proficiency in Angular and Spring Boot
• Solid understanding of front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience with backend development using Java, Spring Boot, and related frameworks
• Familiarity with relational databases (Oracle PL/SQL preferred) and ORM tools
• Knowledge of RESTful API design and integration
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD Pipelines
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Willingness to adapt to project needs and provide support beyond regular hours when necessary
• Mortgage Industry Experience (Preferred)

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $68K – 140K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
