Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field.
• 6–10 years of general software development experience.
• 5+ years with Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Python, Angular (or similar UI framework).
• Experience in a financial services organization, with GRC exposure preferred.
• Relational database expertise (SQL, joins, indexes, aggregation).
• Strong understanding of OO fundamentals and REST/SOAP interfaces.
• Familiarity with SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Cloud experience (AWS, Glue, S3, Terraform) is a plus.
• Knowledge of AI tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex system requirements and define interfaces between components.
• Lead project teams, assign tasks, and monitor performance.
• Recommend new technologies and development approaches.
• Develop and test software, document specifications and workflows.
• Provide technical guidance and resolve programming issues as needed.
• Prepare project plans and track progress using PM tools.
• Ensure reliable and maintainable code with minimal rework.
