Job summary

TriCom Technical Services is seeking a Sr. Full-Stack Java Software Engineer to join a team performing software development assignments.

This mostly remote role requires monthly on-site presence in Kansas City, MO. You will help complete annual code and metadata maintenance on legacy Java applications, leveraging complex SQL across Oracle/Snowflake, while collaborating in a dynamic mix of legacy and modern codebases.

Qualifications

• Senior-level full-stack engineer with Java focus.
• 8+ years of Java experience, 17+ preferred, with Spring Boot and JPA.
• Experience developing Angular/TypeScript SPAs with HTML/CSS.
• Strong SQL skills across Oracle, PL/SQL, and Snowflake.
• Knowledge of dependency remediation tools such as Nexus IQ and SonarQube.
• Experience with GitLab, IntelliJ, and Kiro.
• Test-driven development with JUnit and build tools like Maven or Gradle.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance legacy Java web applications driven by metadata.
• Build and support Spring Boot services with JPA and persistence layers.
• Develop Angular SPA components using TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Write and tune complex SQL across Oracle and Snowflake environments.
• Perform dependency and CVE remediation while following SCA and quality gates.
• Attend daily standups to report progress and plan the day.
