Job summary

Cadmus seeks a Senior Full Stack Java Developer to join an Agile team delivering modern web applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and REST APIs. You’ll work across layers, implement enhancements, and mentor peers while participating in code reviews and deployment activities. The role requires U.S.

work eligibility and a strong background in Spring ecosystem and front-end development. Preferred Azure, Docker, and DevOps experience, along with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on Java/Spring development experience.
• 3+ years of Angular/AngularJS development experience.
• Experience on Agile/Scrum teams.
• Extensive Spring ecosystem experience including Spring Boot and REST APIs.
• Strong front-end skills with Angular/AngularJS, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS.
• Experience with SQL Server and relational databases.
• Experience with JSON and XML.
• Proficient with Apache Maven for builds.
• Experience with Git-based source control.
• Familiar with SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with unit testing and automated tests.
• Strong troubleshooting and collaboration skills.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. clearance.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the full Agile software development lifecycle.
• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise apps using Java and Spring/Spring Boot.
• Develop responsive web apps using Angular and AngularJS, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS.
• Create RESTful services and APIs with Spring Boot.
• Integrate front-end with back-end services and databases.
• Follow coding standards, patterns and best practices.
• Work with SQL Server and write efficient queries.
• Troubleshoot issues across dev, test, and prod.
• Contribute to code reviews improving quality, performance and security.
• Translate requirements into technical designs and tasks.
• Collaborate with architects, QA, DevOps and stakeholders.
• Develop unit and integration tests and support automated testing.
• Maintain and modernize apps with new Spring/Angular tech when beneficial.
• Participate in deployments and production support.
• Mentor junior developers through review and guidance.
• Create technical docs and diagrams for deployment and troubleshooting.
• Identify improvements for performance and reliability.
