Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Java Full Stack Engineer with 7+ years of experience to design and build cloud-native enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, React, and AWS. In this remote role you will collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.

You will develop microservices and REST APIs, implement modern web interfaces with React, and contribute to architecture, testing strategies, and CI/CD

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience developing enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong hands-on experience with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience building microservices and RESTful APIs in distributed application environments.
• Hands-on experience working with AWS cloud services and modern software delivery practices.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams, including sprint planning, estimation, and delivery activities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade microservices and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build responsive and user-friendly web applications using React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, QA teams, and other stakeholders throughout the Agile development lifecycle.
• Contribute to application architecture, code reviews, testing strategies, and development best practices.
• Support CI/CD processes, troubleshoot production issues, and help ensure application scalability, security, and performance.
