Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Java Full Stack Engineer to design and build cloud-native enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, React, and AWS. This remote role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration across the software development lifecycle and technical excellence.

You will contribute to microservices, RESTful APIs, CI/CD, and architecture discussions, while ensuring security, performance, and scalable delivery aligned with business goals.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience developing enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong hands-on experience with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience building microservices and RESTful APIs in distributed environments.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and modern software delivery practices.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum teams, including sprint planning, estimation, and delivery activities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade microservices and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build responsive web applications using React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, QA, and stakeholders throughout the Agile lifecycle.
• Contribute to application architecture, code reviews, testing strategies, and best practices.
• Support CI/CD processes, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure scalability, security, and performance.
