Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Java Full Stack Developer – Python & Angular for the Westborough, MA area, with hybrid work expecting 3 days in office. The role requires 7+ years building high-performing, scalable enterprise apps and collaborating with product managers, designers, and clients to deliver valuable software.

Proficiency in Java, Angular, Python, Oracle/PLSQL, and DevOps with Git is required. You will participate in Agile ceremonies and produce robust solutions across the stack.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience developing enterprise applications.
• Experience with Java backend, Angular frontend, and Python scripting or services.
• Proficient in Oracle/PLSQL and database design concepts.
• Strong OOP fundamentals and modern development practices.
• Experience with test automation and shift-left testing mindset.
• Familiarity with DevOps and Git workflows.
• Experience with Agile tools like JIRA, Zephyr Scale, Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
• Translate requirements into scalable technical designs with traceability.
• Design, develop, and implement robust applications using modern frameworks.
• Collaborate with product owners and cross-functional teams on deliverables.
• Identify performance improvement opportunities and implement optimizations.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment to maintain quality.
• Support Agile processes including sprint planning and stand-ups.
