Job summary

Cadmus is seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Developer to join a federal contract team. You will design, build, and maintain modern web apps using Java/Spring and Angular, delivering RESTful services and scalable solutions.

You will mentor teammates, participate in code reviews, and collaborate with architects, testers, and stakeholders to improve performance, security, and maintainability. A U.S. government clearance (FNS MBI) is required or can be pursued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on Java/Spring development experience.
• 3+ years of Angular/AngularJS development experience.
• Experience on Agile/Scrum teams.
• Strong Spring ecosystem experience (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data/JPA/Hibernate & REST APIs).
• Experience with SQL Server and relational databases.
• Experience with JSON & XML.
• Experience with Maven and CI/CD tooling.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. government clearance (FNS MBI) is required.

Responsibilities

• Participate throughout the Agile software development lifecycle, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, development, testing, deployment, and retrospectives.
• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Spring/Spring Boot.
• Develop responsive web applications using Angular and TypeScript, HTML5, CSS.
• Design and implement RESTful services and APIs with Spring Boot.
• Integrate front-end apps with back-end services and databases.
• Mentor junior developers through code reviews and technical guidance.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and implementation guides.
• Deliver application enhancements in collaboration with architects, QA, and DevOps teams.
