Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a Full-stack Developer to work on a high-impact upgrade with a leading global investment management client in Southern California. You will be part of a SCRUM team, collaborating closely with client and business analysts to understand requirements and deliver high-quality Java and TypeScript solutions.

The role emphasizes full-stack development, code reviews, and ongoing process improvement, with exposure to modern tools and cloud/container technologies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years commercial development experience
• Proficiency in Java and modern web technologies
• Experience in frontend frameworks (Angular, Typescript)
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Familiarity with modern message brokers (Kafka, JMS, RabbitMQ) is desirable
• Cloud and container technologies (AWS, Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes) are a plus
• Python is a plus

Responsibilities

• Work in a SCRUM team with client and business analysts to understand requirements and identify changes
• Develop and present recommendations from analysis of current solution; assist in code reviews
• Identify areas for code refactoring and contribute to development processes
• Demonstrate strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Responsible for full stack development of Java and Typescript to meet specifications and designs
• Estimate effort and break down tasks, identify risks
