Job summary

Trusted Space, LLC seeks a Senior Java Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance software on-site at Aurora, CO; Herndon, VA facilities. You’ll join an agile team, applying Java, Spring, and messaging tech to complex systems.

The ideal candidate holds a TS/SCI clearance and can obtain a CI polygraph within 30 days, with DoD 8570 certification pursued within 6 months. Competitive compensation and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years in software engineering or related experience.
• 5+ years of Java production experience.
• Experience with Java Spring Framework.
• Experience with messaging frameworks (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Ability to work in Windows and Linux environments.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to take a CI polygraph within 30 days.
• Ability to obtain DoD 8570 certification within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Supports program objectives to include software development in a collaborative agile environment.
• Works with users to define existing or new system scope and objectives; provides analytical support and technical advice.
• Assists in the review and evaluation of systems and software for adherence to directives and standards.
• Able to lead small high performing team of developers across the full software development lifecycle.
