Job summary

Trusted Space, LLC is seeking a Java Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications in a collaborative agile environment. The role is on-site in Aurora, CO or Herndon, VA and requires a Bachelor’s degree plus 5+ years in software engineering.

Candidates should have strong Java experience, Spring Framework, and familiarity with Windows and Linux. A TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required, and DoD 8570 certification must be pursued within 6 months of start.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related.
• 5+ years in software engineering or related experience.
• 2+ years of experience with Java for production level software.
• Experience with the Java Spring Framework.
• Ability to work in both Windows and Linux environments.
• An active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
• Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 certification within 6 months.

• Assists in the review and evaluation of systems and software for adherence to directives, standards, guidelines, and criteria concerning software safety and systems safety.
