Job summary

Trusted Space, LLC is seeking a Java Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications in a collaborative, agile environment. This on-site role is located in Herndon, VA and requires 5+ years in software engineering, a BS in CS or related field, and hands-on Java with Spring Framework; an active TS/SCI clearance is required.

• An active TS/SCI Security Clearance with the ability to take and pass a CI polygraph within 30 days or at the customer's request.
• Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 certification, including CompTIA Security+ or CISSP, within 6 months of start date.

Job Description Trusted Space is seeking a Software Developer with a Bachelor’s degree or higher and 5+ years’ experience to join our team. Candidates will design, develop, and maintain high-performance software applications. The ideal candidate has experience with the Java programming language, object-oriented design, debugging, and optimizing complex systems, and works effectively in a collaborative, agile development environment.

• Experience with containerization (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes).
• Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification.
• Knowledgeable in satellite systems, ground-based mission systems or mission operations.
• An active Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $130,000 - $200,000. Please note that this range is a general guideline and can vary. Trusted Space, LLC considers several factors when extending an offer including, but not limited to: scope, location, position responsibilities, education/training, key skills and business considerations.
