Qualifications

5+ years of software engineering with system design, development, testing and operational stability.
Advanced Java knowledge with data structures, algorithms, and multithreading.
Experience with algorithmic trading systems and trading protocols such as FIX.
Practical cloud-native experience and cloud-based architectures.
Bachelor/degree in CS, CE, Math or related technical field.

Responsibilities

Provide technical guidance to the business and technical teams, contractors, and vendors.
Develop secure, high-quality production code in Java and review peers’ code.
Design and implement algorithmic trading strategies to optimize execution and performance.
Collaborate with product teams to translate trading strategies into scalable algorithms.
Refactor and optimize existing code for performance and reliability.
Promote best practices and contribute to firmwide SDLC frameworks.
