Job summary

NinjaOne is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Java) for the Catalog team to build and scale services behind our RMM third-party patching engine and version validation system. This role supports millions of endpoints and involves high-availability software, data workflows, and extensive collaboration across teams.

You will shape architecture, drive performance improvements, and mentor peers while delivering reliable, secure software that powers global operations.

Qualifications

10+ years of Java software development experience.
5+ years building highly scalable systems.
Strong API design experience with REST and Spring.
Solid OOP fundamentals and relational DB skills.
Experience with caching systems and data warehousing exposure a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead development of large-scale Java applications with a focus on quality and reliability.
Influence architecture decisions to ensure scalability and maintainability.
Mentor engineers and set technical standards across projects.
Own technical initiatives and drive improvements using data from support teams.
Champion quality assurance and high-performance outcomes.
