Job summary

Ping Identity is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to contribute to its Identity Management product suite.

You will design and implement large-scale Java-based identity solutions, collaborating with distributed teams across North America, Canada, and Europe while focusing on security, performance, and scalable cloud deployments. The role emphasizes strong Java expertise, RESTful services, and the ability to translate requirements into robust software, with opportunities to work on enterprise-grade

Qualifications

• Experience designing and developing large-scale Java applications.
• Strong understanding of HTTP and RESTful web services.
• Familiar with cloud architectures and deployment strategies (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with AI agents to plan, validate and implement functionality.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop large-scale, single- and multi-tenant Java-based identity management products.
• Collaborate with distributed team across Portland, OR area, Canada, and Europe.
• Analyze requirements with product management and architects to enhance PingIDM features.
• Plan, estimate and manage development tasks independently per business plans.
• Enable successful cloud deployments and integrations with customer support teams.
