Ping Identity is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to shape a trusted, scalable identity management platform. You will design and implement Java-based products, collaborate with teams in North America, Canada, and Europe, and translate requirements into robust software in a fast-moving, secure environment.

Ideal candidates bring extensive Java experience, cloud deployment know-how, and strong communication skills, with a focus on security and performance in large-scale systems.

Qualifications

• Wide experience designing and developing large scale applications in Java.
• Strong understanding of HTTP and RESTful web services.
• Strong interpersonal communications skills.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills.
• Familiar with cloud architectures and deployment strategies (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience using AI agents to plan, validate, and implement functionality.
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop large-scale, multi-tenant Java-based identity management products.
• Collaborate with distributed teams across North America, Europe and beyond.
• Analyze requirements with product management and architects to improve the identity platform and add features.
• Plan, estimate, and manage development tasks per business plans.
• Enable successful cloud deployments.
• Work with customer-facing teams to resolve issues.
