Job summary

Ping Identity is seeking a skilled Java-focused engineer to design and develop large-scale identity management products. The role involves collaboration with a distributed team across Portland, Canada, and Europe to iterate on PingIDM features and requirements.

You will plan and estimate tasks, enable cloud deployments, and work with support teams to resolve customer issues, contributing to a robust, scalable identity platform.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing and developing large-scale Java applications.
• Strong understanding of HTTP and RESTful services.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and initiative.
• Familiar with cloud architectures and deployment (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience using AI agents (e.g., Claude) to plan and implement features.
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently on complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop large-scale, multi-tenant Java-based identity management products.
• Collaborate with distributed teams in Portland, Canada, and Europe.
• Analyze requirements with product management and architects to enhance PingIDM.
• Plan, estimate, and manage development tasks per business plans.
• Enable successful cloud deployments.
• Work closely with customer-facing support teams to resolve issues.
