Senior Software Engineer (Java) at Citi in Belfast, UK, will design, develop and deploy high-performance, low-latency Java applications within the Global Fixed Income Trade Processing (FiTP) team. The role requires extensive Java experience, Spring Boot mastery, microservices, RESTful APIs, and proficiency with CI/CD, Docker, and SQL in a Linux environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in high performance, low-latency, multi-threaded apps.
• Extensive Java development experience.
• Spring Framework and Spring Boot expertise.
• Experience with microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Maven/Gradle and CI/CD familiarity.
• SQL and relational database knowledge.
• Experience with Jira, Git/Bitbucket, Gradle and CI/CD tools.
• Linux/Unix familiarity.
• Cloud tech: Docker, OpenShift.
