Citi in New York seeks a Senior Programmer Analyst to design and build large, distributed fixed-income systems. You will lead development across the full lifecycle—feasibility, design, build, test, and deployment—while applying Java, Spring, and microservices best practices.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with a relevant major (Computer Science, IT, Math, Engineering).
• Experience in high-performance, low-latency, multi-threaded applications.
• Extensive hands-on development in Java.

Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology, and applications development.
• Monitor and control all phases of development, provide user and operational support.
• Analyze complex problems, evaluate business processes and industry standards.
• Develop security measures in post-implementation analysis.
• Consult with users/clients and other tech groups on issues and solutions.
• Define operating standards and processes; ensure procedures followed.
