Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/SE or closely related field.
• 7+ years as a Java developer.
• 6+ years in Java enterprise software development.
• 5+ years memory and performance tuning in Java.
• 4+ years concurrent programming (Actor Model, CompletableFuture, thread pools).
• 4+ years with Hibernate/JPA and query performance optimization.
• 4+ years with relational (MySQL/Oracle/DB2/SQL Server) and NoSQL (Cassandra/MongoDB).
• 2+ years ensuring software development compliance.
• Remote work permitted within Texas; no travel required.

Responsibilities

• Drive the software development lifecycle, define sprint goals, and lead product launches.
• Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and strengthen team capabilities.
• Collaborate with product managers and architects to meet priorities and regulatory requirements.
• Document architectural designs and create developer guides for knowledge transfer.
