Red Arch Solutions seeks an experienced Senior Java Developer to modernize a government information system. You will lead upgrades across Solr, Tomcat, and Oracle 19c, leveraging Python components and VMware infrastructure on Windows.

Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure secure coding and minimal disruption; document designs and upgrade procedures, and participate in reviews.

Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise Java application development on Windows-based VMware infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Expertise with Solr and Zookeeper including upgrading/migrating index data.
• Experience with Tomcat and Directory Studio.
• Experience with Oracle 19c/relational DB integration.
• Experience with SAP BI reporting.
• Secure coding practices for government compliance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute technology stack upgrades for enterprise Java applications in secure government environments.
• Develop and maintain Java/Python components on Windows-based VMware infrastructure.
• Modernize legacy application code to current standards and best practices.
• Implement secure coding practices in compliance with government security requirements.
