Qualifications include 13+ years in IT, TS/SCI with US citizenship, and experience with SAP BI reporting. Relocation or on-site work locations include Annapolis Jct, MD and nearby federal areas. Salary range $145,000–$211,000.

Qualifications

• Expertise in enterprise Java development on Windows-based VMware infrastructure.
• Expertise with Python.
• Expertise Apache Solr with Zookeeper (including upgrading and migrating Solr index data).
• Experience with Apache Tomcat, Apache Directory Studio.
• Experience with Oracle 19c/Relational database integration.
• Experience with SAP BI reporting frameworks.
• Experience with secure coding practices for government compliance.
• Ability to obtain and/or maintain a TS/SCI government clearance which requires US Citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute technology stack upgrades for enterprise Java applications in secure government environments.
• Develop and maintain Java/Python components on Windows-based VMware infrastructure.
• Modernize legacy application code to current standards and best practices.
• Implement secure coding practices in compliance with government security requirements.
• Upgrade Apache Solr clusters with Zookeeper coordination and migrate index data.
• Migrate and optimize Solr index data during version upgrades.
• Manage Tomcat configurations and deployments.
• Integrate applications with Oracle 19c database systems.
• Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and business stakeholders to minimize disruption during upgrades.
