BIP US is seeking a Senior Java Developer – Credit Risk & Data Engineering to design and build scalable data-processing solutions for Capital Markets and risk functions. You will work on high-throughput backend applications and data pipelines using Java, Spark, and distributed data technologies.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Credit Risk, Market Risk, front-office, and technology stakeholders in a client-facing consulting environment, delivering robust technical designs and scalable

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software or data engineering in financial services or complex enterprise environments.
• Strong Java with Python/Scala for data-intensive apps.
• Spark production experience and large-scale data processing know-how.
• Experience with Parquet, partitioning, compression, and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and support scalable software and data-processing solutions for Capital Markets, Credit Risk, and related functions.
• Own full software development lifecycle from requirements to production support.
• Build large-scale batch and streaming pipelines using Spark and distributed data technologies.
• Create backend services, APIs, and data integration components with Java/Python/Scala.
• Ingest, transform, enrich, and analyze vast trade, risk, and reference data.
