Job summary

Azumo is seeking highly motivated Java Senior Engineers to design, develop, and test robust Java APIs for scalable backend infrastructure used by millions of users. The role is fully remote based in Latin America, with compensation commensurate with experience.

You will collaborate with a growing team of engineers to deliver high-performing backend solutions. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of experience with enterprise Java frameworks, strong API design skills, and proficiency in English

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience with enterprise class frameworks (such as Spring Boot, Hibernate, Spring or any other Java enterprise class frameworks).
• Deep expertise in designing and building robust APIs.
• Practical experience with open source technologies and products.
• Self-driven and motivated, with a strong work ethic and a passion for problem solving.
• Professional English proficiency (B2/C1)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and test robust Java APIs.
• Evaluate multiple approaches and technologies to solving a problem.
• Understand data pipeline needs and work with product managers to find solutions.
