This role requires Java, Spring Boot, microservices, TDD, cloud technologies, automated testing, and AI assisted development practices. The ideal candidate will use AI tools to support testing, improve code quality, and accelerate delivery while keeping solutions secure, scalable, and maintainable.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional Java and Spring Boot experience.
• Strong SQL and NoSQL database knowledge.
• Experience building microservices with Java and Spring Boot.
• Proficiency in TDD and ensuring test coverage.
• Experience with JUnit and Mockito testing frameworks.
• Cloud platform experience (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Git and modern version control workflows.
• Experience in Agile development environments.
• Familiarity with AI assisted development workflows.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java applications using Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Build internal tools and user facing features that improve functionality and user experience.
• Practice Test Driven Development and build well tested, high quality software.
• Use AI assisted development tools to support coding, testing, debugging, and software quality.
• Collaborate with Product, DevOps, and QA teams in an Agile environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across development and production environments.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Mentor junior developers and support continuous improvement across the development team.
