IAMUS Consulting seeks a Software Engineer to design, develop, and implement Java-based software capabilities for client systems. You will collaborate with senior engineers, integrate next-gen AI agents, and ensure code quality through robust testing and mentorship.

The role is hybrid, requiring around two days per week in our San Antonio office. A strong background in APIs, microservices, and agile practices is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Clearance: U.S. Government Security Clearance (must obtain & maintain; citizenship required).
• 9 years in Software Engineering; 7 years with a Master's; or 13 years with HS diploma.
• Experience designing enterprise APIs.
• Experience RESTful web services.
• Experience in Microservices architecture.
• Experience with OOP and agile lifecycle.
• Hybrid work: ~2 days/week at San Antonio office.

Responsibilities

• Develop Java-based software capabilities.
• Design, develop, and implement complex software features.
• Lead and mentor others; guide auth AI agent workflows as needed.
• Ensure code quality through testing and reviews.
