Enlighten is seeking a talented Software Engineer to design, develop, and implement complex software capabilities for computer-based systems. You will work with a team of engineers to create robust software solutions and stay current with evolving technologies.

The role emphasizes Java, RESTful services, and microservices, with responsibilities including mentoring junior staff and guiding AI agent workflows. This is a hybrid position with in-person collaboration 2 days per week in San Antonio.

Qualifications

• U.S. Government Security Clearance required or ability to obtain.
• 9 years software engineering experience with Java and Spring; Master’s reduces experience requirement; or 13 years with HS diploma.
• Experience with RESTful web services.
• Experience with Microservices architecture.
• Proficient in OOP and Agile software lifecycle.
• Linux operating system experience.
• Experience with configuration management tools (Git, Nexus, Maven).
• Demonstrated leadership/mentoring experience in engineering teams.
• Hybrid work environment; 2 days per week in the San Antonio office.

Responsibilities
