Job summary

Cloud and Things is seeking an Integrated Eligibility Developer in Lake Mary, FL. This 12‑month, W-2 hourly role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining Java/J2EE applications for government eligibility determinations.

You will work across the full development lifecycle with diverse teams for Medicaid and MSP programs. The position requires hands-on Java/J2EE experience, REST/SOAP data exchanges, and strong collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• 6 years of hands-on experience developing Java/J2EE enterprise applications.
• 2–5+ years of experience with Java.
• 2–5+ years of experience with SQL and relational databases.
• 2–5+ years of experience with Spring/Spring-based technologies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Experience working through the full software development lifecycle.
• Knowledge of eligibility systems (Medicaid, MSP) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with functional analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions for eligibility regulations and program policies.
• Participate in application design, technical reviews, and implementation standards.
• Analyze business rules and program requirements to support effective technical solutions.
• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain Java/J2EE-based applications supporting integrated eligibility platforms.
• Develop functionality for Medicaid and MSP eligibility determination, enrollment, renewals, and notices.
• Support data exchange design using REST services and SOAP/XML/JSON where needed.
• Troubleshoot, improve, and maintain enterprise applications across environments.
• Document technical designs and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
