Job summary

Cloud and Things is seeking a Reports Developer for Integrated Eligibility Systems to support NYS reporting and analytics. You will develop complex SQL, build dashboards, and ensure regulatory compliance across Non-MAGI Medicaid, MSP, and integrated eligibility programs.

The role is hybrid (Albany, NY) with a four-month Lake Mary, FL project segment, offering a 6-month engagement and opportunities to lead reporting workstreams and mentor junior developers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Reports Developer with direct experience supporting Non-MAGI Medicaid, MSP, and Integrated Eligibility systems.
• 2-5 years of Java experience.
• 2-5 years of SQL experience, with strong hands-on ability to write, tune, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries.
• 2-5 years of Java Spring experience.

Responsibilities

• Write, tune, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries against eligibility, benefits, and case management data.
• Design, develop, and maintain operational, compliance, and federal/state reports for Integrated Eligibility programs.
• Translate business and policy requirements into technical report specifications in coordination with program, policy, and QA teams.
• Build and maintain dashboards and visualizations to support reporting needs for various stakeholders.
• Validate report outputs against source systems and business rules to ensure data accuracy.
• Optimize report and query performance through indexing and data model improvements.
• Support UAT and defect triage for reporting deliverables and coordinate fixes with the development team.
• Maintain report documentation, data dictionaries, and mappings of eligibility rules to reporting logic.
• Mentor junior report developers and analysts and help lead reporting workstreams.
