Job summary

Mackrel Technology is seeking a Senior Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot. You will build microservices, RESTful APIs, and work across database, cloud platforms, and modern dev practices.

The ideal candidate has 7–12 years of hands-on Java experience, strong knowledge of Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security, Hibernate, and a track record of delivering high-quality software within Agile

Qualifications

• 7–12 years of hands-on Java development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and microservices.
• Experience with REST APIs, databases, and cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in unit testing with JUnit and Mockito.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise Java applications.
• Develop and maintain microservices-based apps and RESTful APIs.
• Implement business logic with OOP and design patterns.
• Work with Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security, and Hibernate.
• Design and optimize SQL queries and DB interactions.
• Integrate with third-party systems and internal services.
• Implement authentication/authorization using Spring Security, OAuth 2.0, or JWT.
• Write unit/integration tests with JUnit and Mockito.
• Troubleshoot issues and optimize performance.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure coding standards.
• Collaborate with architects, QA, and DevOps teams.
• Contribute to technical design and Agile ceremonies.
• Support deployment and monitoring in cloud environments.
