Job summary

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with 8-10 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, API development, Apigee, and AWS.

The ideal candidate will design, develop, test, and deploy scalable microservices and REST APIs, implement API security and monitoring with Apigee, and drive deployment, scalability, and reliability in AWS cloud environments.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of professional experience in Java development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java/J2EE.
• Extensive experience with Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem.
• Strong experience developing Microservices and distributed applications.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs and API integration.
• Strong experience with Apigee API Management.
• Experience with API security, authentication, authorization, policies, and lifecycle management.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-based application deployment.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and modern version-control practices.
• Experience with unit testing and automated testing frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop scalable and resilient microservices-based applications.
• Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs and services.
• Work with Apigee API Management for API development, security, policies, deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
• Implement API authentication, authorization, rate limiting, security policies, and traffic management.
• Develop high-quality, reusable Java code following industry best practices.
• Design and implement integrations between internal and external systems using APIs and microservices.
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot applications in AWS cloud environments.
• Work with AWS services to support deployment, scalability, monitoring, and availability.
• Participate in architecture, technical design, and code reviews.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, DevOps, QA, and business stakeholders.
• Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies and participate in sprint activities.
• Ensure applications meet performance, scalability, reliability, and security requirements.
