Position Description:
A Senior Programmer is responsible for leading and/or working on the most complex IT applications design, documentation, development, modification, testing, installations etc.
The Senior Programmer, in development of applications software, is responsible for analyzing and refining systems requirements, translating systems requirements into applications prototypes
The Senior Programmer, is responsible for analyzing systems requirements in response to business requirements, risks and costs, evaluating, selecting, verifying and validating the systems software environment,
Skills Required:
Strong knowledge/experience with Java web development using JSP, Struts version 1 or 2, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Hibernate framework, MVC design, Oracle Database 12c or later. Oracle WebLogic 12c, Eclipse IDE, and Git version control and strong experience/knowledge of relational databases.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts. Good communication, both verbal and written.
Proven working experience in Java development, minimum of 5 years of experience.
Education:
Requires the possession of a bachelor's degree in an IT-related or Engineering field.
Must be a California resident. Overtime may be required.
