Job summary

Citi in Tampa, FL is seeking an experienced Applications Developer to join the Equity Finance Technology team. You will help build and enhance the Post Trade platform, collaborating with technologists across locations to deliver business solutions using Java and modern tooling.

The role requires 3–6 years in apps development or systems analysis, strong coding practices, and the ability to work in a global team.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of experience in apps development or systems analysis.
• Experience in managing and implementing successful projects.
• Exposure to AI solutions to accelerate development.
• SME in at least one area of Applications Development.

Responsibilities

• Engineer the capabilities for the Trading platform as per the book of work
• Code review of development conducted by others
• Resolve variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards
• Provide expertise in area and advanced knowledge of applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint
• Utilise advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgement regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
