Job summary

Citi is hiring a Java Senior Developer in Tampa, FL for Equity Finance. The role is hybrid, full-time, and focuses on building the Post Trade platform with strong Java, Kafka, SQL and cloud capabilities.

The candidate will participate in agile delivery, code reviews, and cross-functional collaboration across geographies. Required experience includes 3–6 years in apps development or analysis, with a SME in a key area and a solid grasp of TDD/BDD practices.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis
• Experience in system analysis and programming of software applications
• Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
• Exposure to AI solutions to accelerate development
• SME in at least one area of Applications Development
• Ability to adjust priorities quickly and work with a global team

Responsibilities

• Engineer capabilities for the Trading platform per the book of work
• Code review of development done by others
• Resolve high impact problems through analysis of business processes and systems
• Provide expert knowledge to ensure adherence to architecture and standards
• Develop coding, testing, debugging and implementation practices
• Assess risk in decisions and ensure compliance with laws and Citi policies
